Hills Feline C/D is a cat food for cats with Feline Lower Urinary Tract Desease (FLUTD), a lower urinary tract disease associated with stone formation in the urinary tract and can cause numerous painful symptoms in cats. The two most common types of urinary stones that occur in the urinary tract are: struvite and oxalate stones.

 

Prescription Diet Feline C/D is a food for cats with FLUTD in conjunction with struvite urinary stones. Struvite stones often form when urine is oversaturated with magnesium, ammonium and phosphorus, in combination with an alkaline pH.

 

Areas of use:

Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD), Struvite Stones and Urinary Stones, Preventing the appearance or repetitive, unfounded appearance of FLUTD in adulthood cats (Feline C/D in cans).
